How FMI became the event company of choice for Braemar Finance
So, we were delighted to get our teeth into a new challenge posed by the fantastic team at Braemar Finance, who wanted to ensure their exhibition stand at the British Dental Industry Association’s (BDIA) ‘Dental Showcase’ engaged with audiences in the best possible way, whilst delivering a strong return on investment.
Delivering added bite
Braemar Finance offers tailor-made financial solutions to a wide range of professions, including dentists and the dental industry, which help their clients’ businesses to grow and to thrive.
The medical sector is a key growth sector for the team at Braemar, so they wanted to make a real impression among the dental community at the BDIA’s ‘Dental Showcase’, the largest dental exhibition in the UK. It was on us to deliver some real added bite.
Bracing ourselves to deliver on the brief
The team at Braemar knew exactly what they wanted to achieve at the exhibition, so the brief was as clear as they come, and they needed an event company to provide full end-to-end support.
We took the initial design concepts and delivered creative treatments and messaging that would connect, whilst staying true to the Braemar Finance brand.
Another critical part of our job was to work with health and safety, exhibition organisers and the Braemar team to make the logistics seamless from inception to build to de-rigging.
And, to inspire and engage audiences – and to stand out among the crowd – we had a digital caricaturist on the stand, connecting directly with potential clients and adding that extra layer of ‘stickability’ on the stand. Braemar Finance ran an animated video, previously produced by FMI, to communicate to visitors their latest Fast Track offering.
The result was that we worked together to deliver a branded exhibition stand safely and efficiently, we hit the budget, and – most importantly – we drew an engaged crowd of potential clients.

After the exhibition was completed, we spoke with our client Emma Jones from Braemar Finance, to get a view on the impact of this year’s exhibition in partnership with FMI.
