Exclusive FMI Showcase Event at Cliveden with super-fast cars

FMI hosted a successful Exclusive Showcase Event at the magnificent Cliveden House Hotel with our app development agency Red C. Inviting a mix of current and prospective clients, we shared some interesting case studies; provided an insight into the Bribery Act, entertained our guests, indulged in a delicious lunch, immersed ourselves in the history of the venue and then took a spin in some very fast cars.

Cliveden provided a magical location for our day and as we know first impressions count; we arranged for our trio of supercars to be front and centre as guest made their way down the impressive driveway. Everyone then enjoyed a refreshing coffee while they took in the amazing views from the hotel across Berkshire.

As the formal part of the day started we moved into the exquisite French Dining Room, where guests had the opportunity to find out more about FMI and some of the exciting and innovative projects that the agency has recently delivered. As the case studies culminated with an Award Winning Incentive programme the presentations changed tack and we covered the impact of the Bribery Act on such programmes.

This element of the day was presented by John Cassey (ex HMRC) who immediately caught guests’ attention by kicking off with stories of FIFA’s eye watering corruption surrounding World Cup bids.

This enlightening presentation was followed by Rob Sturgess and Trevor Evans from Red C, who shared not only their insight on the mobile revolution and why apps are an important part of everyday life, but also a number of intriguing case studies of recent and current projects.

After refreshments on the upper terrace, with views across the whole Cliveden estate and beyond – our guests were entertained by the wonderful mind reader Graham Jolley who managed to amaze and bamboozle everyone with his skills.

We were then taken on a whistle stop tour of the history of Cliveden House and how it has been the very hub of Power, Passion and Politics for the last 100 years from Lisa Lernoux-Dock, Sales Director, Cliveden.

Our guests were split into small groups for the house tour and fast car driving experience. The house tour took in many areas not normally seen by guests. The fast car group sped off up the drive to enjoy their 45 minute (or faster in many cases!) tour.

All guests regrouped for a delicious lunch, it was a good opportunity to catch up with our guests and find out more about their needs and how we might help. After lunch the groups swopped, a delicious cream tea was served back in the Boudoir and all departed with words of thanks for a great day, plus a goody bag!
