Over the last few months, we’ve seen many industries go through an unparalleled amount of change as we’ve adapted to life during the COVID-19 outbreak. For many businesses, there’s been new challenges to face almost on a daily basis and no real direction as to which way to go, due to the unique situation the pandemic has presented.
Thankfully, after months of lockdown and economic turmoil, many sectors seem to be working their way back to a semblance of normality, but there’s still a long way to go before routine and familiarity become part of our everyday working lives again.
Safeguarding the future of our industry
At FMI, whilst we’ve adapted to working from home and delivering for our clients in new ways, we’ve also been impacted by the virus, with projects, events and ventures postponed or cancelled, due to the restrictions and the change in demand.
It’s been a difficult time, but we’re not an agency that likes to dwell on the negatives. Instead, we’ve viewed lockdown as an opportunity to strengthen our network, review our service offering and assess our business model and partners.
It’s been a time of reflection across our agency, but also development – and we’re now looking to the future and the chance to once again work on exciting client projects across incentives, events and marketing. However, we appreciate that not all businesses in our industry will be in this position just yet and many are likely to still be feeling the effects of Government restrictions – especially those in the events sector.

With that in mind, we’d like to extend an open invitation for suppliers to contact us and tell us all about their wonderful service, venue or product. We’re happy to receive portfolios, overviews or just website links detailing the ways in which our businesses can work together. At a time when there’s so much turmoil in our industry, we believe it’s key to review and expand our list of supplier partners and feed them into our ideas pot for any upcoming projects or campaigns we might have.
