TOUCHPOINT INCENTIVE PROGRAMME

To incentivise alarm installers and engineers to choose Eaton products for their customers. Without a direct route to market, FMI had to find a way to engage with the audience, directly reward sales made and provide product support.

FMI developed an online reward and product knowledge portal where registered users could access product information such as manuals and installation guides, log product sales and earn points to redeem for prizes. The FMI platform generated unique reference numbers (URNs) that were incorporated into the Eaton manufacturing and packaging process to enable secure validation of sales to specific products, users and points value.

With over 3,000 alarm engineers engaging with the website every month, logging scores of sales and downloading product manuals and software, Eaton’s security business not only exceeded their initial sales targets but also plan to expand and extend the platform’s scope and reach into Europe.
