How events agency FMI became the partner of choice for automotive client
To deliver Inchcape’s largest ever UK awards ceremony and gala dinner for over 500 employees with overnight accommodation at a central location that was easily assessable for the Dealer network
FMI proposed an umbrella theme of the Golden Orbs, which was used to brand the entire event from the guest web registration site to the ongoing comms and onsite event collateral, such as menus and place cards. The chosen venue was located centrally with excellent accessibility to the main motorways. We were able to ensure that everyone could be accommodated onsite to minimise the need for any additional transfers. The award’s dinner set and staging was in-keeping with the theme, whilst also adhering to any brand guidelines. A celebrity presenter was brought in to co-host the awards, which were delivered in an ‘Oscar’s style, with runner-up and winner’s videos being shown on the two large screens. After the awards and dinner, an 18m curtain ‘revealed’ a hidden room where a casino, bar and green screen photo booth style photographers had been set-up for post event entertainment.
FMI successfully delivered on all elements of this event and the client had a number of positive ‘thank you’ emails from guests post event. Everyone left feeling engaged and positive about Inchcape as a brand, which is great return on their investment.
