FMI is thrilled to announce that we’ve won another industry award for one of our travel incentives campaigns.
We took home Best Incentive Travel Programme at this year’s Incentive Awards & IMA Summit Awards for our work with global telecoms giants, Three and Huawei.
The awards are dedicated to rewarding the best employee programmes, as well as great people and use of technology, and the Best Incentive Travel Programme Award recognises the exceptional execution, creativity and innovation in delivering a programme.
The winning campaign
Our award-winning entry was based on the bespoke incentive travel campaign that we delivered for Three, called Wild about Huawei.
We worked with Three earlier in 2019 after they approached us with a specific brief to help them boost sales of the Huawei P30 and Huawei P30 Pro and incentivise staff in their Tech Mahindra call centres in India.
A full case study detailing how we delivered the programme can be found here, but for the team here at FMI, this award win is particularly significant as the winning project really showcases the scope of what we can do for our clients.
How we delivered it
Following a close analysis and consideration of budget, target audience and logistics, as well as confirming key objectives for the client, we designed, developed and delivered a five-week incentive programme that involved regular rewards for sales throughout, culminating in a once in a lifetime, all expenses paid trip to South Africa for those who performed best during the programme.
Clare Bingham, Engagement and Operations Director, said of the win: “I’m so proud that FMI has taken away another prestigious award within our industry. Wild about Huawei was a fantastic project to work on, and wholly encompasses what we do here at FMI.
“Incentive programmes really are a great way to motivate a work force to achieve a determined set of objectives, and the initial output can roll on for weeks and months following the trip. Recognition of this programme by an industry body really is the icing on the cake for us.
“Following what has been a challenging few months for our industry, I’m incredibly pleased for the team, especially our Events Director Dave Ball, who expertly handled the delivery of every element of the programme.”
