I’ve been at FMI for the last 10 years and during that time have seen our agency move from strength to strength in the brand, incentives and events industry.
Based at our beautiful office inside a converted barn in Chilton, we’re a hardworking, and I believe, incredibly talented bunch who have a genuine passion for our work and the brands we represent.
That’s why I’m thrilled, and honestly very honoured to announce my recent promotion within the agency. I’m now stepping into the new role of Engagement and Operations Director and will be leading the team moving forward.
I’ve got ambitions to drive our business forward as part of my new role and will take inspiration from my time in operations to do this as effectively and efficiently as possible. Largely, my focus will be on strengthening our core business offering which centres around strategic brand engagement. I’m hopeful my previous experience in client services and account management, plus my time in the incentives and events industry will be invaluable.
I see FMI as a hidden gem of an agency, based just outside of London, in an incredibly picturesque setting, with a dedicated team of professionals and a global client base. Going forward, I want us to shout about ourselves more.
We know that we create innovative and inspiring work and that FMI is known as a successful and well-established agency within our industry. But moving forward, I’ll be looking to further enhance this reputation and also extend our profile to additional sectors, placing a definite focus on growth over the next three years.
I’m confident the team will continue to deliver great events, communications and incentives for our clients – both old and new. We’ll place more emphasis on corporate events and also have a renewed focus on trade and channel engagement, which we know resonates with our audience as this offering has seen us attract a raft of high-profile clients in recent months.
Personally, I’m looking forward to strengthening our already impressive portfolio of clients and projects and I know I’m extremely lucky that the team are all exceptional industry experts with unrivalled passion and experience.
As part of my new role, I want to support them to develop further professionally whilst also welcoming new innovators into the agency. I’ll operate an open-door policy, so will always be keen to hear from up and coming talent who have a hunger to succeed in the incentives and events industry.
It really is an exciting time at FMI and I’m eager to see what the next ten years has in store for us all!
