FMI go further for MotoNovo Finance’s Extra Mile Awards

At FMI, we specialise in high-impact events for financial brands, with extensive experience delivering awards ceremonies that celebrate success while strengthening partner relationships.

For the second consecutive year, MotoNovo Finance appointed FMI Agency to plan and deliver its prestigious Extra Mile Awards, building on past success and evolving the experience for year two.

Evolving the brand beyond an awards evening

With a clear ambition to make the event bigger, bolder, and more impactful, MotoNovo Finance sought to expand the Extra Mile Awards beyond a standalone evening celebration. The objective was to create a more immersive experience that delivered greater value to its dealer network. FMI developed a full-day programme, combining business engagement, partner interaction and thought leadership. The event moved beyond recognition alone, creating space for meaningful conversation and connection.

The Radisson Blu East Midlands Airport was selected as the venue, offering modern conference facilities, excellent accessibility for delegates across the U.K. and a professional yet welcoming environment for both the daytime conference and evening celebration.

Designing a seamless day-to-night experience

The expanded event began with a hosted arrival lunch, followed by a partner showcase, afternoon conference and structured networking session, encouraging collaboration across the dealer network. The conference featured guest speakers who addressed key DE&I themes, including equality, mental wealth and mental toughness, reinforcing MotoNovo Finance’s commitment to inclusivity and wellbeing.

As the event transitioned into the evening, FMI carefully managed the shift from conference to celebration, ensuring the experience felt cohesive and engaging throughout. FMI delivered end-to-end event management, overseeing the nomination website, venue and supplier coordination, and the development of all creative elements, ensuring a consistent and premium experience across every touchpoint.

Delivering lasting impact for dealers and partners

The second-year Extra Mile Awards successfully elevated the event into a standout fixture in MotoNovo Finance’s events calendar. The addition of a daytime conference added tangible value for the 130 attendees, while the awards evening continued to celebrate excellence across the dealer network. Positive feedback from both attendees and stakeholders has already prompted discussions around next year’s event.
