In order to increase sales and market share of handsets, FMI were challenged to create a ‘Thrill & Chill’ branded sales incentive. Intended to raise awareness of the mobile brand amongst retail staff, keeping them engaged throughout the 9-week incentive period.
The highest performing staff had the opportunity to win an exciting incentive trip, full of thrilling and chilling.
Communication is key to channel engagement
FMI created a fully mobile-optimised campaign microsite for two-way communication with the audience, including posting public league tables to track sales progress and uphold engagement. We created weekly quizzes over the 9-week programme, giving staff the opportunity to win manufacturer products.
15 overall winners won a 3 night stay in Cape Town, where FMI organised a variety of exciting Thrill & Chill activities. From abseiling down Table Mountain, spa treatments, shark diving and private terrace dining to a visit to Waterkloop vineyard and a track day experience.
During the 9 weeks there was a 184% uplift in sales, a 215% uplift in Year on Year sales compared to the previous year and a 100% happy client!
