Amplifying Jabra’s presence at CES with product marketing
At FMI, we’ve worked with Jabra for around three years on product marketing and they’re a client we love to collaborate with. Jabra specialise in intelligent audio solutions, offering everything from Bluetooth headsets to wireless headphones, providing the ultimate experience in wireless calls and music, with long lasting battery life and noise reduction.
They’re an innovative company, with a reputation for quality and performance, which is why, over the last four years, they’ve attended the Consumer Electronic Show (CES) in Las Vegas every January. Our team at FMI has supported them at the show, producing the company’s biannual sell-in PowerPoint for their channel customer meetings.
These presentations have primarily been used to secure buy in from their global customers. These household names are some of the biggest in the industry and include John Lewis, Dixons Travel, BestBuy, Walmart, Amazon, Curry’s, Media Markt and FNAC.
Rising above the noise
After the initial briefing meeting, our team produced a selection of creative concepts and style directions, which were influenced by the Jabra CES stand – ensuring their presence at the show remained unified and on brand.
To capture the attention of their customers and engage them from the off, we created new templates, designs and icons for Jabra, using their distinctive colour pallet and visually strong brand identity as a sell-in proposition for CES.
Our team also collaborated with them to design style guides and capture striking product images which all resulted in an impactful presentation. The presentation was completely free of words – which was our biggest challenge! But we utilised icons and line drawings, which were animated alongside the product imagery to tell the story of the brand and the products being promoted.
This approach was on brand, but also pared down compared to most other material available at the show. The result was a completely product focused presentation, capturing the attention of global customers from the beginning. It also allowed us to create a post event version on the Jabra template for future exhibitions and events.
And from the client…
“Thank you for taking on our challenging brief! Our goal was to create an engaging presentation deck for our customer meetings at CES that mirrored the booth design, reflected the Jabra brand and was built in a keynote style to be concise & memorable. The team at FMI delivered us just that, providing us with every opportunity to succeed in our top-level retailer meetings and showcase Jabra at its best.” James Pengelly-Marshall, Global Head of Retail Marketing at Jabra.
Our collaborative approach with Jabra is what makes our relationship so strong and is the reason we’re producing quality, stand out results.
